About the Role
We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work side-by-side with our Project Manager, playing a key part in bringing projects to life—from planning through execution.
As an APM, you’ll be at the center of operations, helping coordinate teams, manage site activities, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You’ll also act as a primary point of contact for clients during the construction phase—making strong communication skills essential.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Operations teams to plan and execute projects from start to finish
- Lead site safety meetings and promote a strong culture of safety and compliance
- Oversee subcontractors and third-party labor on-site
- Support procurement and workforce planning needs
- Maintain daily activity logs and report progress to the Project Manager
- Coordinate logistics and communication with clients, local authorities, and utilities
- Assist in developing and updating project drawings
- Manage submittals and RFI documentation
- Deliver exceptional client service and build strong relationships
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in construction project management
- Proven experience managing construction projects and field operations
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
