Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on socioeconomic trends, community needs, and development opportunities in Puerto Rico.
  • Identify and evaluate initiatives aligned with the Foundation’s mission and strategic priorities.
  • Collect and analyze data to support decision-making and assess potential project impact.
  • Research nonprofit organizations, potential partners, and funding opportunities.
  • Prepare research reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
  • Monitor relevant industry trends and maintain organized research records and databases.
  • Assist in evaluating the outcomes and impact of supported initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Two to three years of experience in research, data analysis, economic development, project evaluation, nonprofit organizations, or a related field.
  • Experience conducting research, analyzing information, preparing reports, and supporting strategic decision-making is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, research, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
