RESUMEN DEL PUESTO: Un general foreman supervisa las obras de construcción. Debe tener experiencia en el sector, y ser capaz de dirigir, supervisar y resolver los problemas habituales que surgen en el trabajo. Además, el foreman actúa como enlace entre los trabajadores y los directivos, y es el principal punto de contacto para las operaciones en la obra.

RESPONSABILIDADES DEL PUESTO:

  • Trabajar bajo la dirección del project manager para identificar las distintas fases de un proyecto.
  • Participar en la selección, contratación y formación del personal necesario para completar con éxito los proyectos.
  • Asignar tareas y ser responsable de supervisar el progreso del proyecto y mantenerlo dentro de los plazos y del presupuesto previstos.
  • Asegurarse de que los trabajadores estén cualificados y conozcan sus funciones, y asignarles tareas de acuerdo con sus habilidades.
  • Informar, actualizar el progreso y tomar decisiones relacionadas con las relaciones con proveedores y distribuidores.
  • Garantiza unas condiciones de trabajo seguras y el cumplimiento de todos los procedimientos operativos de seguridad específicos de la empresa.
  • Coordina los trabajos de construcción de acuerdo con las prioridades y los planes.

REQUISITOS: 

  • La formación académica puede ser una ventaja en el sector de la construcción y la plomería.
  • Mínimo 3 a 5 años de experiencia como General Foreman en construcción comercial o industrial.
  • Excelente conocimiento de las operaciones y los equipos de construcción.
  • Familiaridad con lectura de planos.
  • Cualquier certificación adicional relevante se considerará una ventaja.
