Resumen del Puesto: El/La Soldador(a) es un profesional técnico encargado de unir metales utilizando herramientas avanzadas que calientan los materiales hasta convertirlos en un líquido, permitiendo así formar uniones metálicas de alta durabilidad. Este rol es crucial en múltiples sectores como la construcción de edificios, puentes, refinerías, automoción y tuberías, donde se requiere precisión y habilidad para manejar diversos metales y aleaciones.

Responsabilidades:

  • Soldar tuberías de pequeño, mediano y gran diámetro utilizando diferentes metales y aleaciones.
  • Ejecutar instalaciones mecánicas y montar sistemas conforme a especificaciones técnicas.
  • Leer e interpretar dibujos técnicos y especificaciones de construcción para asegurar la correcta instalación de tuberías y otros componentes.
  • Cumplir con todas las normativas de seguridad en el trabajo, mantener un entorno de trabajo seguro y limpio, y seguir las regulaciones establecidas.
  • Realizar cualquier otra tarea, segun aplique. 

Requisitos:

  • Experiencia mínima de 5 años en una combinación de dos o más oficios calificados.
  • Certificaciones de soldadura vigentes.
  • Conocimiento avanzado en seguridad laboral, con capacidad de completar orientaciones de seguridad específicas, como la OSHA 30 HRS.

Habilidades y Competencias:

  • Alta habilidad técnica en técnicas de soldadura y manejo de herramientas relacionadas.
  • Capacidad para leer y comprender planos y especificaciones técnicas.
  • Conciencia y diligencia en el cumplimiento de normativas de seguridad.
  • Destreza en el manejo de diferentes materiales y métodos de soldadura.
  • Fuerte orientación a la calidad y al detalle en la ejecución de sus labores.

Ambiente de Trabajo:

  • Trabajo principalmente en ambientes industriales y de construcción, tanto en interiores como al aire libre.
  • Requiere uso constante de equipo de protección personal para evitar riesgos asociados con la soldadura.
  • Puede involucrar la exposición a condiciones climáticas variables y entornos ruidosos y calurosos.

Demandas Físicas:

  • Requiere fuerza física y resistencia para manejar equipos pesados y trabajar en posiciones incómodas durante periodos prolongados.
  • Capacidad para levantar, transportar y manejar materiales pesados.
  • Necesidad de mantener alta concentración y precisión en ambientes que pueden ser estresantes debido a los plazos y las exigencias del proyecto.
